Check out this bounty...i'm still freaking out that the potatoes grew and appear to be edible. I want to dedicate MUCH more space to potatoes moving forward. Besides being something everyone likes to eat, they are really fun to harvest...Anton had a blast digging for them and so did I!

late June garden update
Monday is my 7th anniversary of being wed to my husband, ball and chain, better half, etc. We have a very rich life...and a rich garden and I am very thankful for both.

Early June Garden Update!
It has been a fairly rainy start to the growing season but i think my little igloos paid off...the tomatoes, peppers and peas are doing great. A couple of surprises as well...both of my lemon trees are fully resurrected from the grave and have fully re-leafed, one is blossoming! Also the potatoes I planted last fall as an experiment actually took and started to go nuts a few weeks ago. Sadly I planted them really close to my fennel but I moved a couple fennel...we'll see what happens. More on the potatoes later. Let's focus on the peas, shall we?
